What do I need to bring to my first lesson?

We employ the defensive driving approach, which allows our trainees to develop a comprehensive set of skills and knowledge aimed at ensuring their safety and the safety of others on the road. In practice it means learning to anticipate instead of react — scanning well ahead, holding space around your vehicle, adjusting for weather, and knowing what to do when another driver makes a mistake.

What is the difference between a G1, G2 and G licence?

Ontario uses a graduated licensing system with three stages. G1 is the written-test stage, where you may only drive with a fully licensed accompanying driver and under additional restrictions. G2 comes after passing your first road test and lets you drive alone, still with some restrictions. G is the full licence, earned by passing a second, highway-based road test.
